We love Christmas in The House of Hot Breath.

We REALLY REALLY love Christmas.

So we decided to do a Christmas special
every year that highlighted the spirit
of giving and brought people back to what its
like to enjoy Christmas again as a child.

The centrepiece of Christmas Adventageous
is a 18ft wide hand painted advent calendar.
Audience members are all given raffle tickets
and if you are lucky enough to have your
number called, you get to open one of the doors
on the advent calendar and receive a gift from
Santa himself.

The middle section of the calendar reveals a puppet
theatre where our own Hackney Puppet Players
present a puppet play about giving and
the Christmas spirit.

In 2009 we left the calendar up for one more day
and performed a special kids version of the show with
all proceeds going to Great Ormond Street Hospital.
