A NEW LOOK AT OCTAVIO

Wow panpipes have hit the high street! We were commisioned by New Look to make a Christmas video and we thought, what's Christmas without the panpipes! So we called up Dance Party 4000's favourite panpipe master, Octavio and after 2 long days of shooting and editing we came up with this lovely slice of Xmas cheer!

XMAS IS (WAS) HERE!

Little late in posting this one but we made a video for our pal Isa Gt! She put out a special Christmas compilation on her Etoro Records label and it features tracks from Murlo, Multifunkshion and Captain Bubbles. We had a blast filmimg it and it features a cameo from our little girl Story!

Street Food. Literally.

Last year on my birthday I decided to take my pirate radio bike cruise to a whole new level. I wanted to add food to the mix and make a snack cruise, too. I had experimented with the snack cruise concept back in my lowrider bike days in Canada in the 90's but this time we went all out.

I got a bunch of fruit boxes from up at Ridley Road Market and we attached them to to the backs of about a half dozen of the bikes. We then filled them with foodstuffs that could be easily picked up out of the trays while riding. We had some quesadillas on a stick, pizza slices, chips and dip, pintxos style tapas, fruit wands, and of course, corndogs.

I had a few soundsystems on my bike as well as a 1 watt FM radio transmitter. Everyone else brought a radio and tuned into the station so we were a all encompassing hive of sound. It's amazing to be in the centre of the pack and be totally surrounded by the music as you ride.

We made our way through the city, snacking as we went and amazingly, there we no wipeouts, not a drop of dip was spilled and we celebrated on the top of Primrose Hill with some ice cold beers and dancing. It would be great to do it again and add some handlebar bbqs. Now that would be epic.
